There is no particular reason that I can put my finger on. Dwarves are pretty cool but deep down I can’t say I’m a massive fan. But I always seem to shuffle them to the top of my painting queue. Whilst Dark elves are uber cool and Centaurs are cooler still. Dwarves? Not cool in the same way. Maybe it’s the combination of ‘some cool’ with ‘quaint’. Maybe that homeliness that makes you think that they’d be fun to sit down with and share a drink. Just avoid the short-arse jokes.
It’s been a while since my last update so a few batch posts to follow now that I’ve sneaked in a bit of ‘me’ time. Here is a ‘pack’ of werewolves from Blue Moon. I like the variation in werewolf ‘types’.

UPDATE: Silly me. These wolfen/wolves/werewolves aren’t from the wonderful Splintered Light, but from Lone Gunman Game’s Armies of Arcana range.
Some 15mm demons from Blood Dawn. Went a bit kaleidoscope on the non-winged guys. Maybe not the best decision.
