I’ve already amassed and painted a fair few law enforcers that would not look out of place in Mega City One – courtesy of 15mm.co.uk (Laserburn range) – my previous efforts are here and here. Old figures but still great fun. I recently picked up a few sculpts at a bring and buy that I didn’t already have and got around to painting them up to join the rest of the Justice Department.
I had also picked up a few 2000AD minis from Wargames Foundry in a sale last year so thought I’d paint up the Judge Dredd I’d purchased at the same time as the 15mm guys as I’d be using the same colour palette.
These sculpts may be old. They could be sexier. But I still like them. And if you are looking for elite law enforcers you can’t go too wrong with these guys.
I owned a squad of these way back when they were ‘new’. They were lost to time. I ordered up these new fellas to go with some I painted last year – I had no Law Masters and was missing this particular sculpt for a Judge so wanted to ‘complete’ the force. Mega City One will be all the safer for it!
If you are going to have a world full of riffraff, mutants, raiders and mercenaries you need some tough police force. Look no further than MegaCity’s finest. Classic miniatures still available. (I owned some of these decades ago and must have passed them on. These I picked up at this years Carronade at the bring and buy – serious stripping and repaint needed – recently placed an order for a couple of bike officers – can’t help myself…)
Vehicles are Hotwheel repaints. I realise the paint scheme doesn’t tie in with the law officers but I came across it during a Google research and liked it. So borrowed it.
