Just a quick post to show this “20mm” frog warrior from Splintered Light Miniatures Woodland range. (Normal caveat applies regards “20mm” for these fellows as they work well as large creatures in 15mm and almost ‘life-size’ in 28mm).
He’s one of those ‘in-betweener’ paint jobs offering a break from large batch-painting. Plenty more Woodland goodness in the pipeline…
I use their kobolds from their 20mm line. They look fine next to 15s and to me they fit what I think kobolds should look like than their newer line of dungeon crawl kobolds.
Scale is always in the eye of the beholder isn’t it? Much easier to adjust ‘expectations’ to suit with any non-human race/creature. Having said that, as much as I love the 20mm dwarfs from the same range they are still too different to sit beside my other 15/18s. Despite my efforts to ‘adjust’ my ‘expectations’ by calling them Dwargs!

I bought a few of their 20mm Dwarves, and I totally agree: beautiful sculpts but way too big. I was already too invested in 15mm to switch over (same reason why I didn’t pursue Eureka’s 18mm fantasy). I did use their magic user. He is mounted on a separate base and doesn’t look too out of place as long as he is not too close to the rest of the Dwarf army:
