28mm Games Workshop Mordhiem Frostgrave Witch Hunter

Mordhiem Witch Hunters come to Frostgrave

I’ve mentioned before the ‘plan’ to do more gaming which means, in some cases, dropping my 15mm mantle and giving over to the prevailing 28mm scale.

Games like Frostgrave are part of that plan so when I unearthed a box of GW Witch Hunters for Mordhiem I saw a pretty ‘cool’ core for a themed posse.

Here they are, completed.

This first one I painted up earlier in the year (flexing my 28mm painting). The rest in one go more recently.

This is probably my favourite of the bunch – love the face on this sculpt.

  1. Lovely figs, you’ve done a great job with your painting. I particularly like the flames. I’m failed miserably on torches and campfires before…

  2. Thanks Dave – yep – crossed and old mini I painted 20 years ago with a torch. Not very convincing! Some great tutorials out there and pics to learn from though! This is about as well as I can do without spending a day on a flame 😉 yawn.
