Not sure what it is that keeps drawing me back to painting and buying Dark Age miniatures – I’ve plenty – enough for several armies. But I keep coming back for more…

Amongst a recent Splintered Light Miniatures order were a pack of Late Anglo Saxon characters. Some were ‘Norman’ enough that I assembled them alongside some loose Normans to make a unit (which included some Two Dragons’ Normans). This led to me digging out some further Two Dragons Normans I’d painted years ago but never properly finished off. So now I did.
