I’ve not said much about making terrain before now becuase it’s only something I dabble in. I know guys and seen stuff that far surpasses anything I can (be bothered to) produce.

Anyway, digging around some old boxes (you know the ones, stuffed full of miniatures, models, games and terrain that you promised you’d find a use for some day) I came across this Construction set – Constructo Plastic! It’s so long ago but I think I picked it up at a flea market for 50 pence or something. Looks like it could pre-date Lego.

As I was painting up some sci-fi and post apocalyptic stuff I thought they’d make good buildings. It’s garish. A mix of hard and soft plastic for the joining bricks.

I did this one first as a tester. Quite happy with that.

Second time round I thought I’d try a taller building. I picked up some second-hand Whizkid MechWarrior mechs, tanks, etc at this years Carronade (2014) so I thought a hanger bay for them plus parking lot, control tower and landing pads. Before and after shots;
