Whilst on a bit of a terrain spree at the moment I thought I’d balance up the Fantasy with some Sci Fi images.
TopoSolitario.com is a website that I’ve visited many times over the last few years. I admire both Marcos Hidalgo’s talent and generosity in making feely available some very very nice paper-based terrain goodies. Kudos to you.
Curiosity got the better of me recently and I decided to print out his Industrial Gaming Map. The images below show the battlemap and various containers from TopoSolitario.com. Also in there are some MDF buildings from MadMechaGuy (also awesome and excellent value) a bit of ‘hard-to-find’ plastic terrain from Urbanmammoth and a few other bits off the web.
Overall a pretty useful ‘Infinity’ inspired play area – scaled for 15mm of course!
Nice to see the map printed out and used. I’ve printed out a number of his container\habitats which are very useful (and easy to store!).
Also good to see someone else using a Germy bar model 🙂
What scaling did you end up doing for 15mm? Or did you just use the mat fullsize?
HI Dave – If you mean for the floors I stuck with 1″ squares – 15mm based on pennies or similar size look right on 1″. So each floor tile is based around a 5″ square (minus wall widths).
