These fellas have been sitting in my to-do-box for a very very long time. I can’t count the number of times I’ve said to myself, “You must paint these – they will look great”. Well, despite the huge pile of lead fighting for attention I finally did commit.
I really do need to brush up on my photography skills though. Clearly the field of depth is off (despite adding a bit of drama).
I missed this post of yours.
The chariots look wonderful. I have just picked up one on ebay and when i googled it to see how the spear or standard was held, i found your one.
Cheers
Robert
p.s. luv the “whooaar” chest joke 🙂
Thanks steam flunky. Yes, they are nice models. Whole range was good. The only draw back was lack of pose variations. Other than that, excellent.
I also recently bought some more High Elves off eBay. Absolutely no need for them but they were going too cheap I just had to…
These miniatures are very great and your painting job really do worth them.
Have you got some heavy high-elf troopers?
I belive knowing the moulds have be lost somewehere and this range could never be re-build. 🙁
I’ve a few. Some painted if you mean the high elves. And I keep an eye on eBay where they occasionally appear. Prices are okay because I don’t think many people know that they are not only OOP but as you say, the moulds have been reported as destroyed. Criminal.
