Always with an eye towards character driven skirmish games, I do like my little squads of personalities and these guys from 15mm.co.uk are just that.
I’m not 100% sure where the bot on the right came from (15mm.co.uk, old Traveller, or elsewhere) but the other 4 are from the SHM Range at 15mm.co.uk. The noble idea is to give up-and-coming sculptors a commercial outlet for their work. As you might expect then the sculpting is not the most ‘refined’ but there is certainly plenty of character and fun to be had with this range.
Of the many I have from the range, I selected a few that I thought would make an interesting ‘group’ for any of the dozen or so science fiction based skirmishing games out there – particularly suitable for Rogue Planet, a number of titles from Nordic Weasel or perhaps the upcoming Rogue Stars from Osprey but the awesome Andrea Sfiligoi of Ganesha Games. Have I played any? Nah, not yet – the proverbial non-Gaming Gamer Syndrome prevails. But I love the idea!

Nice figures.
I’ve got the four SHM in my “to paint” pile but would love to get my hands on the bot so if anyone out there in the ether knows its origin, I’d love to know. 🙂
Google fu. As I thought a Traveller mini. Either eBay or RAFM in the US?

Thanks 🙂
Well, you certainly did those old sculpts of mine some good. I like how they came out. Good use of color.
They may be ‘old’ but I bought them not too long after they came out. Fun miniatures so thanks for making them. Plenty others of your (including some Prang) which I hope to paint up one day. Don’t hold your breath though. Leadpilenitus Serverus.
